TOMAS JEF STUDIO is a graphic design practice based in Margate, UK, specialising in visual identity and creative direction. The studio, led by founder Tomas Jefanovas, focuses on creating an impactful and functional design for cultural & commercial clients. The studio operates in a modular manner, utilising a network of creatives to form project-specific teams.
Tomas has extensive experience working with cultural institutions, including the Tate, V&A Museum, Museum of London, Culture Mile, and National Portrait Gallery. He has designed several successful campaigns, including exhibitions at all four Tate galleries, and the opening of the V&A’s Photography Centre. He also worked on the sell-out blockbuster exhibition, Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams at V&A.
During 2013–2014 Tomas was appointed as an in-house senior digital designer at Tate Gallery. This experience has given Tomas a good understanding of the work processes within arts institutions' design and marketing departments. He holds degrees from the Royal College of Art and the London College of Communication. Other clients include The British Museum, Sadler’s Wells Theatre, Shelter, and Droga5.
